CEU Alumni placement

Central European University is proud of its alumni, more than 6,000 today, who carry the mission of the university across almost 100 countries around the world. There is an enormous range of career paths that CEU graduates pursue. Among their employers are international organizations, national governments, top consulting firms and multinational companies, as well as nongovernmental organizations and leading academic institutionsall over the world.

Almost twenty percent of the students are accepted and continue studies at famous universities around the world. Other sixty-five percent of CEU's graduates go into employment after leaving the university, with most going to the countries of the EU and EFTA, former Soviet Union, Americas and the Caribbean and Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Most graduates take positions in Education and Research Institutions worldwide, although a large number also find employment in business, international nonprofit organizations or governmental posts.
